Becoming A Better You

Wanting to be better is all well and all but you need to be motivated enough to even do that!
I know people find it really hard to stay motivated so i'll try and help out a little bit!

Now that i work in sales i need to motivated myself everyday to work hard and to push myself, as my effort is directly linked to how much money i get paid....you better believe i am getting that paper! :P

1 - Have a goal

It's difficult to score if you don't have a goal. Imagine a football team just mindlessly kicking a ball from left to right with no end result. That's exactly what life would be like if you didn't have a goal in mind.
Your goal can be anything! Short term or long term! I try to have a couple of short term goals in life and then one long term goal.
For example.
Long term - Is to own my own house and become a sales manager.
Short term - Is to loose more weight and get down to 9 stone
Short term - To save up for 2 holidays this year

2 - Set the plan in motion

It's all well and good having a goal and everything but if you don't work toward its....it's basically pointless.
This is the bit people find most difficult i think, because they don't know where to start! and they don't know which goal they want to go for first. So you have to learn to prioritise, which would be most achievable and which ones you would be able to achieve quickest. I'm not saying that quicker is always better! But it does help prioritise which goals you can go for first. & usually if you achieve one goal, you'll be hungry for the next.

3 - Don't give up

Never give up. It's really that simple. When the devil tells you to stop what your doing, you ignore him and carry on. There a quote that i always remind myself of when i'm having a really bad day that keeps me motivated with my weight loss and that's 'The food you've been craving for an hour or the body you've wanted your whole life'....i'll take the body thanks!

4 - Chill out & enjoy the ride!

Your on the steps to becoming a better person, a better you! So enjoy it! Your meant to be doing something that is going to benefit you. Don't stress too much and enjoy! :)

Random, i know. But i am constantly asked how i stay motivated and focused on what i want and these are the processes that go through my mind :)

I hope it helped!

How I Style Indian / Pakistani Clothes

I hope you've check out the video on my YouTube channel!
Unfortunately I was going through my archives of classic Bollywood songs and the one I used always reminds me of my parents. & of course it turned incredibly cheese!!

Outfit 1

Simple Chic

Michael Kors Watch

 Urban Outfitters Rings
Shoes | Zara Basics
Bag | Accessorize

I wore this for a Mehndi for a family friend & I always like to keep things basic when it comes to Asian garments.
I feel that they are embellished so beautifully you really want your accessories to be very basic.
Usually when I go to a wedding or event I always see overdone outfits with accessories to match! & it drives me insane! That look has only ever worked for the Bollywood starlets...not off camera!

Outfit 2

 Bollywood Princess

 Bag | Primark
Heels | Zara Basics

Again I find that there is just too much going on with this dress to add massive accessories and over complicate the whole outfit!
Especially at a wedding you don't want to look like your trying to outdo the bride!
There was so much going on with this neckline I stayed away from necklaces and massive gawdy earrings!

I find that a simple strap heel looks the best with Asian clothes, most of the time your body is so covered you dont EVER want to wear boots or pumps! Well I don't anyway!

These are just some ideas to get you thinking in different ways! :)Let me know what you think!

The Way People Talk

The human mouth is such a powerful thing.

With a couple of words you can either build a friendship or you could forever tear it down.

I've learnt over the past few years that people do not consider what they say enough, I myself am included in this conclusion.

I've got into a lot of trouble over what i have said in the past, mainly because i don't like to beat around the bush. If i have something to say i would rather say it to that person than behind their back. & i would hope that those i keep in my circle would do the same. There's nothing more cowardly in my opinion than someone who cannot muster the courage to face you.

If in a single moment someone discovers something about you, if it makes them look good they will tell the whole world what they know! They don't stop to think...'should i say this'...'what will i gain from this'. It's such a rush to them that they can't keep the information behind their forked tongues.

Next time you open your mouth to discuss someone else's business i want you to ask yourself what GOOD will it do? Always remember...

'Great minds discuss ideas and small minds discuss people'

Valentines Day | From Day To Night

Hey everyone!

So if your like me and you like to make the most out of your day you should really have a plan in mind when it comes to your look.
For me last year my other half and I went to Paradise zoo :) he then wanted to treat me to a meal out in the evening!
This was a little bit of a headache as they are completely different activities and I didn't have enough time to go home and change my make up and all!

If you haven't seen it....Check the video on my YouTube!

So now that you can see my seriously troubling dilemma ;) lets get on with the outfits!

Day

Coat | Topshop
Jeans | Joni Jeans Topshop
Top | Brandy Melville
Shirt | Vintage
Shoes | Classic Vans

I just find this outfit so comfortable and with the weather as it is in the UK at the moment i'm not ready to freeze! Valentines day or not! For me it's about comfort!
Inspiration for this was from a mannequin i saw at Zara :)

Night

Dress | River Island
Jacket | Boutique
Shoes | Zara Basics
Bag | Tesco
Jewellery | Topshop

Whats that you said about comfort?!
Well on a evening out it's about the looks :) and if your going to din din you'll be sat down anyway! So pipe down!
These heels make me feel super sexy :$ They are unbelievably flattering!
Although it's freezing in the UK on a evening out you want to show some skin ;)

For the make up i kept it very simple which made it easy to go from Day to Night.
All i did to enhance the look was darken the eye make up, apply some falsies and add more bronzer for a deep contour!

For the hair i think regardless of the occasion a blow out is always going to attract eyes! Check out Anna Lee on YouTube! She's a bad ass hair stylist in LA and she knows how to WERKK a round brush blow dry!

Best Places To Go In London | Day In London

Restaurants In London

I have been dying to visit Big Easy in Sloan Square for such a long time! I found the perfect opportunity was before watching Nickelback at the O2!

The minute I walked into Big Easy it was such a comforting place to be, the décor was on point!

Big Easy Restaurant | Sloan Square

I naturally went for the thing that they are most famous for....LOBSTER

2 Lbs Lobster with fries and salad

Writing about it is seriously making my mouth water! It was absolutely lovely! I have had lobster a few times while abroad and I have to say this is hands down the best lobster I've had.
Not to mention the rest of the meal, the chips must have been double fried because they were so soft and fluffy on the inside but crunchy on the outside.
They also have a great selection of cocktails and beers to accompany the meal, my meal only came to £25! BARGAIN!

They are also opening a new site in Covent garden, so keep an eye out if you'd rather wait!

Entertainment

There is always entertainment in London, just depending on what you enjoy!
My other half and I have been waiting for someone worthy to see in concert and when I heard Nickelback were in town you can bet I was straight on the net buying my tickets!

O2 Arena

O2 Entrance

Nickelback were AMAZING! I found my inner rocker again :)

Check out the video I uploaded to YouTube, I wanted to show you guys my outfit for the day but fancied also showing you what we did for it :) I like watching OOTD videos but I really don't like the layout of some of them. Here's my version :) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNFOAhe8cuQ
